Recent volcanic eruption 11th day/night and aurora. Because the lavaflow is facing north and northern lights are obviously on north it's very hard to capture both, even with a wide lens. Some fake photos facing eruption with aurora towards south have been already seen on instagram. Magma and smoke is a moving light source so long exposure that you need for northern lights can't work for both(unless realy strong aurora)...this is a composition of two pictures...one with 1/40 iso 800 f 3.5 and another 13" iso 800, f 3.5...i used the smoke to hide the border between foreground and aurora.
